Thanks to heliograph I learn that Violence™: the roleplaying game of egregious and repulsive bloodshed by "Designer X", a brilliant spoof of RPGs and the industry and a savage attack on the underlying assumptions of most games, is now available as a free PDF. Not a bootleg - the give-away is approved by the author, who prefers not to be named but the site address may be a subtle clue. It's about a 1mb download, and I strongly recommend it to anyone who was unlucky or mean enough to miss the printed book.

Read Violence and feel your brain explode as you realise what killing all those Orcs was really about...

I used to DM for people who would have really enjoyed that game; but never more than once!

I'm not convinced it's playable, but it was never really intended to be.
