heliograph I learn that Violence™: the roleplaying game of egregious and repulsive bloodshed by "Designer X", a brilliant spoof of RPGs and the industry and a savage attack on the underlying assumptions of most games, is now available as a free PDF. Not a bootleg - the give-away is approved by the author, who prefers not to be named but the site address may be a subtle clue. It's about a 1mb download, and I strongly recommend it to anyone who was unlucky or mean enough to miss the printed book.
