Call me cynical, but there's no proof someone hasn't already copied the contents of that drive elsewhere. Even Terry did backups, so it's quite possible they exist someplace else.

I agree, as a friend of mine pointed out, Pterry got right sweary in his later books, which is a typical sign of Alzheimers. My dad got "right sweary" towards the end. Yeah, I don't think his unpublished works were probably the best. And considering that his form of Alzheimers robbed him of the ability to read, those last works were handled either by his assistants or his family, so they would be extremely familiar of what they contained.

It may be a case of "Thank God we destroyed them!" than anything else.
