Anyone know The Archers fandom?

I'm not sure about the fandom qua fandom. Mostly I end up discussing itin pubs with people. At the moment I'm avoiding listening, because I'm so cross with the scriptwriters about how the Pip pregnancy plot was handled.

It's weird - it has a HUGE audience but there seems to be remarkably little fan activity of the usual sorts.
