 Heavy snow has started. Fortunately I need to stay in for a courier, and apart from that my only necessary outing is to the post office, so it shouldn't cause me too many problems.

Update - an hour later and the sun is shining and the snow doesn't appear to have settled. Hopefully it'll stay like that for now.

Here, I got up to go to the loo about six and was surprised to see there was no frost. When I got up a couple of hours later, it was snowing, but never particularly heavily. It was settling, but seemed to quickly reach an equilibrium so there was never more than a light dusting. Sun's shining now, and the roads and pavements all seem to be clear.

There have been some little flurries but it isn't settling so far. I suspect it will if it snows overnight, and of course TFL and the papers are already panicking about trains etc.

No snow here at all this morning, and it's even sunny.

We've just had an inch or so which settled, and the forecast says it's getting colder so it will probably stay to some extent.
