Monday was a damp squib. Yesterday and today definitely aren't, heavy snow (for London) from about 3 PM yesterday and flurries continuing today, with a couple of inches depth on the ground and the pavements and roads icy. I know that this is peanuts compared to say Canada, but we've already had warnings of transport chaos etc. - so far the underground here (which is actually a surface line between Paddington and Hammersmith) has been fine though.

I was going to go to the park and take snow photos after I'd been to the post office but it started snowing moderately heavily so that's had to be cancelled. Instead I did the rounds of a few charity shops, got some wooly gloves and general shopping, and came home. which is where I may end up staying for the next few days...

Stay warm Marcus! You'll probably experience some minor flooding when it all melts...
