With the death of Stan Lee yesterday that's two figures that had a major effect on moulding my SF interest gone in rapid succession.

Yes, it's sad to see them go, though I was surprised by Douglas Rain, I'd thought that he was already dead.

Must admit I'd never given the identity of the actor much thought until I heard he'd died.
