Couldn't find a decent picture for Priscilla the Desert Queen, so here's one I made with the hair off one bit of clip-art, an eye from another (mirrored for the other eye), and a veil drawn with paint software.

The odd thing is I'm sure I saw something VERY like it as a film advert once - something with Audrey Hepburn in it?

I'm pretty sure I have as well, but I can't place it. Which doesn't help you much--sorry...

A nagging neuron or two is claiming "Breakfast at Tiffany's", but I'm not sure. A quick google fails to convince me that I'm right, though the slightly stylised Spanish poster for the film is not dissimilar.

For me it brought to mind Shirley MacLaine in Gambit.

I think that's the right actress but I don't think it's that film - at least nothing I can find on line matches it. Wonder why I thought of Audrey Hepburn?

Hmmm! She did play the Indian princess in "Around the World in 80 days" but the hair is wrong for that. There is another film with her in eastern attire, but I can't think what it is. Of course, a thread with Audrey Hepburn and Shirley MacLaine reminds me that they starred together in "The Childrens Hour" which I really wouldn't mind seeing again.

The Breakfast at Tiffany's image is considered a classic movie poster. Just the other week I saw it in a collection of movie-poster notecards on sale at the Museum of Modern Art giftshop in New York. Maybe you're recalling another image by the same artist for a different movie...

The eyes are definately right for a drawing of Audrey Hepburn, and I've found pictures of her with her hair styled that way (but usually with the part on the other side.) Nothing with the veil.

Looks to me very like the stock "Modesty Blaise" image with added veil.

A bit.

I actually found the hair and eyes in two different images on a site with free clip-art intended for beauty salons, which is why it's odd that it ended up looking like someone.
