Technical Queries about the Royal Mail Website

Does anyone have contact information for making a technical query about the Royal Mail website?

Basically, the problem is that if you want to claim for a lost item you have to fill in a lot of information on their online form - and for some reason cut and paste stopped working some time last year, it will only take input from the keyboard, which makes things very difficult if you're trying to enter a long address in a foreign language or something. I've tried several browsers so far, but I've pretty much run out of things to try on this one, and want to ask if it's a known problem or I need to enable something or change a setting.

Driveby - I don't know if it will help, but they have various contact details listed if you tell them you want to make a complaint - 03457 740 740 or customer.service.team@royalmail.com, another web form, and a note that says:
IMPORTANT: To complete and submit forms on our website, please make sure you have the following internet browsers:
Chrome 46 or newer, Safari 9.0, Internet Explorer 11/Edge, Firefox 41 or newer.

Well, I already tried Edge and pasting doesn't work, ditto Safari and Firefox on my Mac, ditto Waterfox on my PC. I suppose I should try Chrome to complete the set, I'll do that later. But in the first instance the customer service email is a good starting point, I'll send them a message and see what happens.

Yes, I tried in Firefox on Windows, and couldn't paste there either - the whole form appears to be implemented in some peculiarly horrible javascript... thing, so I think it's probably just not going to accept pasted input at all. Which seems idiotic, but sometimes people make astonishingly bad design decisions! Good luck with your enquiries.

You could try if NoScript or uMatrix allow you to block the dickish javascript.

It looks like the form may need javascript to work, unfortunately.
