The Supreme Court has just ruled that Boris Johnson’s suspension of Parliament was unlawful. The court says the Prime Minister was wrong to shut down Parliament - and the speaker says Parliament will resume tomorrow.

Any bets on what happens next? Apart from Boris claiming that it was all a horrible misunderstanding and everyone else's fault?

No bets, but I'm hoping to see him led out of Downing Street in handcuffs, however unrealistic that is.

Well, he should resign. He won't, of course, but any normal PM would.

He's certainly nailed down his place as the second-worst PM of the modern era, and overtaking May in that race so quickly is a significant achievement. But he'll have to do a fair bit more to overtake Cameron.
