ffutures...Does anyone think that the Death Eaters WOULDN'T loot Wizarding Britain's treasury as soon as they got control? Would letting them do it be one of the ways Voldemort got so many people on board with his plans?
This is going to be one of the consequences of their rule in my HP/Wonder Woman story unless someone can come up with a very good reason why not, bearing in mind that Voldemort appears to have little or no idea of how to run a government beyond terrorism and eradicating his enemies.

As a mediocre reason, it is plausible that the poorly run, corrupt Ministry of Magic lacked enough of a treasury to be worth bothering.
The Death Eaters wouldn't loot the Ministry's funds, because they were already the source of the Ministry's funds. Like that bit with Malfoy supplying money to Saint Mungo's.
