More Livejournal Problems

I appear to be unable to post to Livejournal at all at present - not sure why, probably a problem with spam-blockers or something - and in any case I am WAY behind on updating there. I think that at this point I am going to give up on trying to keep it current - please read this blog if you find my activities interesting.

Livejournal is on Russian servers right now. Even before the current political unpleasantness and general jerkassery of Vladimir Putin, they were downright uncooperative with Dreamwidth when it came to randomly blocking them for supposed anti-spam reasons.

Unless you like your blog being light reading for the current incarnation of the KGB, and your LJ passwords for sale on the darknet[*], I wouldn't bother keeping an account there anymore.

[*] Every single one of my old RP account names & passwords that I had on LJ are compromised. None of the ones from Dreamwidth are.

I'm aware, and don't post anything there that isn't a duplicate of a dreamwidth post, and don't use the password for anything else. The main reasons I keep the account are that it's a permanent account and I have several hundred photos archived there, and that I have a couple of friends there who still haven't moved to Dreamwidth.
