Now finished the instruction book for the electric pentacle, I think. I've described the company that makes it as being a leading seller of quack medical and science equipment, healing lamps, etc. - does this seem like a good list to put on the back cover? Anything else I should be including? Or omitting? Yes, I know X-rays aren't precisely quack medicine, but I doubt there's much in the way of shielding in there...

I'm pretty sure that they did - I'd be amazed if some of them don't invoke Hawking by now - and I'm pretty sure that I've seen quantum entanglement mentioned as the reason why homeopathy 'works' somewhere

Very cool list. I love that you can both remove hair and cure baldness with electricity. Perhaps put those two back to back for maximum humour?

Could you perhaps put in some over-hyped phrases for a battery/generator instead of "power supplies".

Re the hair removal and baldness - good idea.

Also a good idea re power supplies - I can say a few words about the high-voltage power supplies they use, which are big induction coils, though I also talked about them in the instruction manual

Electrical divining sex - not something I've seen mentioned in any advert of the period and believe it or not I'm trying for authenticity.

Something that mentions radium - you mean like the first item on the list? Also, the company has radium in its name, the Radium Patent Light Company....
