...I looked out of the window and discovered that it's been snowing heavily (by London standards) and there's about an inch of snow on the ground. What with that and the intermittent postal and transport strikes it's probably safe to assume that tomorrow's headlines will predict gloom, doom, and economic collapse for Christmas...

Just a light dusting here in Guildford, and in places the pavements are totally clear.

Bristol was super organised for once and gritted all the major roads before the snow arrived. I was also woken up at stupid o'clock by weird noises and realised later it had been more lorries clearing what had fallen.

Where I am it had all melted by early afternoon. Other bits of Bristol it lasted longer.
