Dec. 28th, 2022 07:08 pmhttps://bundleofholding.com/presents/2022FateWorlds
This revived July 2021 Fate Worlds and Toolkits Bundle offer once again presents five dozen ebooks for Fate from Evil Hat Productions. Though we've presented Fate many times, none match this unprecedented offer with absolutely everything you need for any fast-moving, action-packed game using the flexible Fate system – and, get this, more than fifty ready-to-play campaign settings. Keep your players busy for years – for an unbeatable bargain price. We provide each title complete in .PDF. Like all Bundle of Holding titles, these ebooks have NO DRM (Digital Restrictions Management), and our customers are entitled to move them freely among all their devices.
Ten percent of each purchase (after gateway fees) goes to this Fate revival's designated charity, the Diana Jones Award Emerging Designer Program. Each year, the Diana Jones Award for Excellence in Gaming, a 501(c)3 nonprofit, amplifies the voices of up-and-coming game designers by featuring them during an expenses-paid visit to Gen Con. The global Emerging Designer Program focuses on creators from marginalized communities.
The total retail value of the titles in this revived offer is US$335.50. Customers who pay just US$9.95 get all eight titles in this revival's Toolkit Collection (retail value $52) as DRM-free ebooks, including the Fate Core, Accelerated, and Condensed rulebooks (pay-what-you-want, suggested total retail price $11.50) and all five Fate Toolkit rules expansions (total retail $40.50): System, Adversary, Horror, Space, and Accessibility.
Those who pay more than the threshold (average) price, which is set at $34.95 to start, also get this revival's entire Worlds Collection with fifty-seven more titles worth an additional $283.50, including the Fate of Cthulhu standalone RPG; all six titles in the Tachyon Squadron space-opera line; the full-size campaign supplements Shadow of the Century, Young Centurions, and Kaiju Incorporated; the Worlds in Shadow and Worlds on Fire volumes of short settings; and all forty-five wide-ranging setting books in the Fate Worlds of Adventure line, 2014-2019 – 2,700 pages of ready-to-play campaigns like The Secrets of Cats, Masters of Umdaar, Gods and Monsters, the full-length Venture City, and tons more.
Fate RPGs use Fudge Dice, available from Evil Hat Productions (as "Fate Dice"), at hobby gaming stores, or from Amazon (affiliate link).
Last time I said "Fate is a highly-regarded game system, and you're getting a huge range of stuff for it - if you've any interest in it it's well worth a look." This definitely still applies, especially if you like some of the weirder setting ideas such as Kaiju Inc., adventures in the world of post-giant monster attack clean-up operations... I think that this is the only bundle that has actually prompted me to go out and buy new dice, the only time I've bought anything other than standard D6s since the early nineties!
