On 14 February Owen was hospitalized for a blood clot in his lung. His four-day hospital stay, plus a follow-up colonoscopy, revealed serious issues he'll be facing for months, maybe years. Owen is enduring hardship with the same drive and determination that has guided his design career. Somehow, even shackled to an air concentrator, he remains effervescently creative: For his 152 Patreon supporters he continues to post game material, fiction, superhero and space opera concepts, and ideas unending.
