I've reluctantly decided that using Missy / The Master as a player character is not going to work, because she would be able to bulldoze through all opposition. Jack Harkness works because he is mostly using 20th century tech and an occasional alien artifact, and the others are generally less hyper-competent outside their own fields of expertise. Bottom line, I'm going to replace her with someone who fits the general tone a little better; a certain Miss Gale, more commonly seen working with John Steed who is unfortunately not available.
