At Eastercon with about three minutes of web acess left before my credit runs out...
checked my mail... ebay... etc...
One spoilery question for Who fans...
Don't you think it would have been a better end to the story, and much more in character, if Cassandra had taken over her younger body and told the Doctor to get stuffed?
And hey - Victorian ninja werewolves!!!!! Yay!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Why didn't Cassandra hide in one of the newly cured "non-people" - she could then have escaped and been the basis for another story later. A bit disappointing, I felt.
Hopefully the Victorian Werewolves will be more the thing.
I am becoming convinced by David Tennant though - when he was announced I was very unconvinced he'd work, but he seems to.

Date: 2006-04-16 03:53 pm (UTC)That said I enjoyed it and I'll carry on watching, but, it's not like it was in the old days! I'd much rather have 2 or 4 part stories than the single episode format.
I sound like I'm about 90.
Mr Tennant was very good, and though it sticks in my throat to say so, so was Ms Piper.
