ffutures: Elvis: The Legendary Tours RPG cover (Elvis)

I'm hopefully going to get Elvis: The Legendary Tours finished and out to e23 (and possibly other PDF sales sites) in the next few days.

Diana: Warrior Princess runs to 65 pages of text and sells for $4.99

Elvis is 50 pages of text, and should presumably cost a little less. I was originally thinking $2.99, but that was when it was going to be shorter and had no illustrations. Now it's illustrated, albeit mostly by me, and I think that it's now better value, so I'm veering towards $3.99 - on the other hand it might be better to set the price a little lower and hope that the value encourages more people to buy Elvis, even if they haven't already bought D:WP, and possibly go back and buy Diana if they haven't already done so.

Anyway, here's a poll. I don't guarantee to pay much attention to the results, but input and comments would be appreciated.

Now, I'm a total clicky box addict, but I did want to add something concrete. I don't really get RPGs, never played one, and associate RPG with Rocket Propelled Grenades, but I do like to support my friends. If this is purchasable for someone in my neck of the woods, I'd likely try to buy it to support a net-friend. Not a very good reason, I know, but it's true.

It's going to be sold on line as a PDF, I'll be posting details as soon as it's available.

I tend to think that the hard part is getting people to open their wallets; once you've done that, the price is pretty much irrelevant (for these values of Fiddling Small Change, anyway)

True, oh wise one.

Hmm, I clicked I'd comment.

I'm happy anywhere in $4-$5 region .

would I buy it though - probably. I try to reduce my RPG buying though to supplements there is an outside chance I might use. Which doesn't rule out Elvis:LT as I have an idea for a LARP with a similiar sidewise view of reality to it and Diana:WP.

But I'm more likely to push a fiver (gbp) into your hand at a con ,even if the online price is around 5USD than be bothered to buy it online.

CD-ROMS are a definite possibility - I'm basically thinking a combined Diana and Elvis disk with possibly some extra material, selling around a fiver (plus P&P if I sell it by mail order)

I think four bucks is a fair price for a PDF, and would more than gladly pay that if I actually wanted to run the stuff, but it's not really my genre.

I did buy Forgotten Futures in print, but I know the economics of publishing; I can't believe you saw very much of that. CD has its advantages, but I like books.
