Found this while looking for details of the 1982 animated Flatland film, voiced by Dudley Moore, which I don't think I've ever seen.

You know that someone is having trouble with the idea of two dimensions when their film clip shows a flatlander riding on a railway car which in turn is running on tracks...

I think the look of this film is beautiful.

I have never really envisaged it that colourful either.

It looks very much like an experimental console computer game, but based on what you have said so far and the clips Id like to get the film, failing that the book.

It will be interesting to see how the mechanics of your game capture the feel of the mathematical world.
