Edit Eye / mouth version posted - helps if I remember the decisions I've made before I start on the artwork... I was obviously more tired than I thought last night.

Sensors on the outside?

Doesn't seem to square with the eye and mouth being the same (as mentioned in that Abbott quote you found). Located in the same part of the body doesn't make then the same organ.
