Snow

We've been expecting snow all day - had a shower of about a minutes duration around noon, but it didn't settle, waited until about five this evening to start (I am very glad to say that I got home first). We've now had about two inches of snow in about half an hour with more coming down. No motorbike tomorrow, I'd imagine (even I'm not that stupid), just hope that the underground is running, it's a surface line at my local station.

I hate snow. We got it here too, and I had to accompany dad up to the mountains... He was driving 40 km/h, but with the slippery roads it felt like we were back on the auto-bahn in Germany in 130 km/h...

Oh, and it's so cold.

Fortunately the snow stopped soon after I posted, but it didn't melt at all over night so I used public transport today. Which was horrible, and much more crowded and slower than usual.

It looks like it'll be marginally warmer tomorrow so hopefully I'll be back on the road. Tonight though it's VERY cold, and I'm about to go and put on a sweater because my central heating isn't coping very well.
