Flatland video
Jun. 12th, 2006 09:27 amStill no luck whatever in finding the Dudley Moore Flatland video in a format I can use. It's available to academic buyers in the US on VHS for $70, but since my VCR can't handle NTSC tapes this isn't a lot of help, and I can't afford to pay that price anyway.
Anyone know if there's a UK source? Somewhere I could rent it? Can't find anything on Google. I haven't had time to check film archives yet, can anyone suggest which ones are most accessible for nuisances like me?

Date: 2006-06-12 10:00 am (UTC)9 minute short film from 2005. Don't know if that is the thing you're looking for. If it is, let me know, and I can send you a £10 voucher for a trial membership to screenselect.

Date: 2006-06-12 05:09 pm (UTC)"Sale $75, rental $30 - contact us for consumer pricing".
You could try emailing them so see if they have a UK distributor, or if they'll sell you a tape for less than 75 bucks.
If they do, I can transcode NTSC to PAL, and make you a fully legitimate backup copy to DVD.
