ffutures: (both snakes)

Got home from a fairly crap day to find this.

As usual Murphy decided that she didn't like the carefully prepared damp box, but never mind. I'll get them out when she's finished and bung them into vermiculite and the incubator etc. Just what I needed, more mouths to feed...

That's the natural corn snake coloration - there are people who breed all sorts of weird colour hybrids, and I really can't understand it because none of them look nearly as nice. Mind you, I wouldn't say no to the money if I had a reliably breeding pair of albinos or something...

Please give my regards to the new mother. She looks, um, glowing. And all that.

Adorable! Totally adorable. And Murphy does look sorta glowy, come to think of it.

Congrats!

You keep snakes? Cool.
I've wanted a pet snake for years.
Good luck with them.

Snakes are loevely, if not exactly cuddly pets - keeping mice in the freezer is the bit that squicks most people out.
