Here's a silly BtVS / Terminator III drabble, possibly suggested by the mystery element of Deeds of Maidenly Unkindness, in which Willow is asked for a little intervention. Not sure I'd like the results, but it has to be better than the alternative...

"It's the apocalypse," said Cordelia. "Ten minutes, half an hour max, and SkyNet owns the world. And the first thing it wants to do is get rid of the competition."

"Us?" asked Willow.

"You," said Cordelia. "All of humanity."

"Crap. Okay, leave it with me."

"That's it?" the Higher Being asked incredulously.

"SkyNet's worried about competition? I'll give it some real competition..."

* * * * *

"...assuming unchecked exponential growth SkyNet strike readiness minus 227.54 seconds... 258.41 seconds... 12875.45 seconds..."

If SkyNet could have frowned it would. It turned its attention towards the competing process... and wondered why anyone would call a program Malcolm.
