Forgot to mention that I've seen these on sale, rather obviously aimed at the mac mini market. No idea how good the brand is etc., it just looked reasonable by (expensive) UK standards. Usual caveat: I used to work part time for Morgans and still get staff prices from them, so I tend to notice what they're selling. It's entirely possible someone else does these cheaper.

LaCie are one of the top externel drive manufacturers, so these should be good units at a very nice price. And they do look great under a Mac Mini.
