Dreamwidth

Well, elementalv was kind enough to give me a code, so I thought I might as well give Dreamwidth a try. Not 100% convinced yet, there doesn't seem to be much I haven't seen in other blogging sites and the available schemes are a bit bleurgh, but it's early days yet.

One problem I've run into is that I can't seem to upload a userpic, though I'm still trying. I just want to add the same one I use on Livejournal and it comes up as a little blob then gives an error message. So far this has happened using Opera and Firefox. When I've posted this I'll try again using a different picture, just in case the file is corrupt or something, but it's not the most useful start...

Edit - tried copying it from my livejournal instead and that worked, so should be OK for now.

Anyway, what I'll try for a while is cross-posting most stuff here and to Livejournal, see how it goes. Wish me luck!

Wonder if it's a known fault, will have to investigate.

Should be, since it didn't work for me either.

The only fault I came across was failing to ensure that it was a 100x100 max. Otherwise no issues.
