I tend to treat the distortions of history as a joke in my games. But there's a much more serious side to it, distortion of history for political purposes.

Date: 2006-09-10 01:01 pm (UTC)She hit the nail right on the head. I was meant to be in one of the towers that day to run a training class (for an extended period). The company in question cancelled it the week before, throwing a lot of my plans awry considering that I had blocked out a 2 month period from other work, as well as already spent a couple of months preparing custom training material. Instead, I got to watch the event on television, and have my wife just sit and hug me, glad that I was home and not there.
It's all propoganda, and it's going to come back and bit those using it on the arse.
