Another example of missing the bleeding obvious - in all my searching for bittorrent client programs I failed to notice that the current release of Opera incorporates its own, and one that works considerably better than Bitlord so far. I only use the bloody program a cople of hours a day...

Have you tried Swapper? I'm far from an expert on the topic, but I'm happy with it.

Not yet; since Opera seems to be doing everything I want from a BT client I think I'll stick with it for the time being.

I liked that Opera had it, but didn't like that I couldn't configure it. I prefer uTorrent.

So far that hasn't been a problem, but if it does get to be annoying I'll try something else.

It was probably just me. I had about 10 accounts in Opera and there was a lot of memory being eaten up when I was using it. And then one day it crapped out and I decided to drop Opera and just start using Gmail. Saved myself 2Gb of space on the HD and don't have to worry about local clients.
