...was Tru Calling, the eight-DVD boxed set with all of S1 and the few episodes they made of S2 - for £7.00

This is especially pleasing because I nearly bought the 6 DVD season 1 set for £12 a couple of weeks ago but in the end decided not to. I've only ever seen a few episodes and wasn't terribly impressed, but I think at that price it has to be worth it, even if I end up selling it off on eBay.

Wouldn't mind borrowing that when you are done with it, unless you are in a hurry to sell it.

Had a feeling you might be interested. I'm in no hurry to watch it, I can bring it to Borders next month, or if you're coming over on Saturday take it then.

Either of those would be fine and thanks.

Heh, once you've finished lending it around, if it's still in watchable condition, I'll give you £10 for it :-)

In fairness they should really be paying you for taking it home with you.

It started to show promise in season two with some arc developing and the ideas the writers were starting to think of investigating were very interesting.

Still a bit of a waste of ED's talent though.
