Are you aware of brass_goggles? It's a blog collecting all sorts of steampunk/victorian tech things, both original (today was the awesome Tempest Prognosticator, a device for predicting storms by the use of leeches) and modern (PC conversions, winamp skins etc.). You should have a look, I'm sure you can find a few things you'll like.

A bit off topic, but I just noticed that BBC2 tonight is showing My Name is Modesty, the 2003 Modesty Blaise movie. It's 12.55am to 2.10am. Thought you'd like to know.
