Doctor, isn't it time that you stopped using that chat-up line about getting home before anyone even knows that the latest companion has gone? Because it NEVER bloody happens!!

Apart from that, a fun episode with nods to all sorts of things, a much better start than S2, and greatly looking forward to more.

Yes, lots of fun. Liked the new companion. Wasn't even annoyed by the kiss and the sexual tension.

I swear there must be some sort of school for evil guys where they are all taught to stomp around all the time though.

Maybe it's some sort of snide insult towards the Daleks, 'You might be the double-hard bastards of the universe, but you can't stomp like us can you!'

When they came stomping into the hospital lobby, I thought at first that they were upgraded Sontarans, despite the Doctor having already called them something else.

Yes, and then with the big round helmets. I was thinking Sontarans too. I certainly wasn't expecting, rhinoceri.

And then the slab/slave/helmetted-servitor things, my first thought was 'Gosh, they've cloned The Stig.'

I guess the rhino headed aliens swallowed all the special effect cash on that episode so they had to make up the SLAB's out of what was lying around in wardrobe.
