Okay - on the left the original, on the right the revised version. Is the new version a little too silly? I think the rivets are right, not sure about the eye-camera.

I'm also liking the hand less every time I see it, not sure what to replace it with though.

Well, if you're not going to do a early Dalek design then (*pouts*), then that hand is a lot better than the one in the picture.

Why not have a simple claw, as seen in the Peter Cushing Dalek movies?
