Permanent account sale

Just for anyone who lives in a hole and hasn't noticed, permanent LJ accounts will be on sale again in June, probably just for a day or so, price $150.

They're also selling off defunct user names, ones where the account has been closed, at $15 a shot. Can't see anything I want though.

I got my permanent account a few years ago when they had a sale and I still think it was a wonderful investment... even though I think I've still got another year of use before I cross over the point where I'll be saving money on the deal. It's just so nice not having to worry about renewing every year.

Hmmm... defunct user names, eh? I'm going to have to think about that one.

Same here, I've been a permanent member 3 or 4 years now, they offered them just as my previous year's subscription was ending. It wasn't cheap but it's a pain to have to remember to subscribe every year, and in another year or so (I think) it will be costing less than a paid account would have done.
