Potterverse thoughts!

Not going to post any deep thoughts on the HP 7 because several people on my friends list have already said pretty much everything I might want to say. But I did have one silly idea...



Dumbledore's mum was called Kendra.

Someone REALLY needs to write a Buffyverse story about this.

Unfortunately it can't be me as I gave up on the Potterverse after 'Goblet of Fire', which bored me senseless, and I don't even remember much about the books.

I may even do it myself - Looking at the HP timeline and going by the dates episodes were shown, Kendra dies some time during the events of the final book. If it takes a while for the news to reach Britain, it works quite nicely as a post-war crossover. Presumably she's a great-grand niece or something.

It doesn't strike me as a particularly plausible name for a Muggle at the time period of which we speak (and i'm fairly sure, having just blasted through the damn book so that i can do reading-aloud duty) that Mum Dum was a Muggle. i suspect the name might have been inserted as a nod to a fan...
