Do sponsored vgifts add time?

ffuturesDoes anyone know if this applies to the sponsored gifts:
If you receive ten or more virtual gifts within two weeks, two months of bonus Paid Account time will be added to your account.
Because if so I shall start sending coke cans to friends...
