Blood donation #86 tonight; I ought to pass the 100 mark around the time I retire at this rate.

Torchwood was good fun, a bit silly and VERY slashy. What the poor fangirls will do now I can't imagine, the Beeb has done it all for them...

They banned me from giving blood - they never managed to get a full unit, and every time I passed out and took up space for ages.

Even I watched Torchwood out of half an eye. After we found out why you should never let him kiss you, I kind of expected one of them to fall over after the slashy kiss...

Has to do with the CJD outbreak in the UK years back. They won't even let my wife give blood, although she's a US citizen. She spent a year in the UK with me and that excludes her too.

The only way to make this more fanfic would be to have it cross over with another fandom (e.g., eventually a despairing John wipes his own memory and sets himself up in a mundane life in Victorian London, only to be turned by Drusilla), or at least have Captain John turn up in DW as well.
