Hmm, of course with their artwork it could be just about anyone in the 'clip'. Can't say I've been liking S8 very much on a number of levels and this looks largely like more of the same... I was hoping the link might have gone to some text explaining plot direction, but I guess I'm looking for the wrong stuff there.

Pretty sure that this is a Buffy / Fray crossover. How Buffy ends up in the 25th century will be revealed eventually, I'm sure.

Very interesting. In the last week or so I've been thinking about the fact that the Slayer power comes from a demonic source. Perhaps this demonic power eventually starts to corrupt activated Slayers and that was a big reason the old Watcher organization was intent on isolating Slayers and other practices that lead to their early deaths. Maybe this new plot development is a symptom of the changes Buffy is undergoing undergoing. Sometimes I get this feeling that it was the First's real plan all along to have all the Slayers activated.
