ffuturesI've retained the original dragon coin (which seems to be a slightly better background than the others) as the overall cover, and coins based on Sue's pictures for the three-volume version. doctor_toc's suggestion of making it "in the world of Jo Walton's award-winning fantasy novel" instead of "in the world of Jo Walton's World Fantasy Award winning novel," subject to Jo's approval.
I'm not 100% happy with the colours of the coins, for some reason I can't seem to replicate the gold shade I used for the first one, and the darks are still a bit too dark and the yellows too yellow. Adjusting hue etc. doesn't seem to be helping much, but I'm crap at this, someone with a better eye might manage it. If anyone fancies a try or has suggestions let me know - I'll have to email the background pictures to you since they'll be converted to jpg if I put them on photobucket.
