Posterazor is a program that takes a graphics file, enlarges it to whatever size you want (in number of pages), then saves it as a PDF file that can be printed. I've just used it to turn the big map for Forgotten Futures X into a four by two page poster - that's actually a bit too big, the individual pixels are too obvious, but something a little smaller would have worked really well. Total time from downloading to printing was about four minutes, most of that the time I spent dithering about how big I wanted the poster.
It's available in versions for Windows, Mac, or Linux, or as source code, and like all software from this site will be available indefinitely.
