Returned from the Novacon SF convention this evening, had a very good time but I've had to catch up on massive amounts of email, livejournal posts, usenet posts, etc. etc., so if I've missed replying to something important, please accept my apologies.

One of my acquisitions was an unexpected gift - the 1939-40 Army and Navy Stores catalogue, full of wonderful old stuff, given to me by someone whose LJ alias has somehow gone out of my head. murphys_lawyer It's going to be very useful, I suspect, and I may eventually post extracts.
