Has the Stargate universe ever clarified where the IOC comes from? Is it part of the UN? And isn't homeworld security part of the US chain of command in Stargate, not the UN? I guess I see some potential issues with that crossover.
On a different note, I'm curious as to your opinion of the Sarah Jane Adventures. I've been watching it with my 9 year old daughter, figuring it would be a good intro for Doctor Who when she's a few years older. I've found some of the episodes to be fairly good, but some of the writing and acting is cringe-worthy. Is that standard for stuff on CBBC? Does the average UK Doctor Who fan watch the Sarah Jane Adventures, or is it dismissed as a second-rate product only for kids?
It's about the only programme I watch on CBBC so I really can't do comparisons. I agree that it's occasionally a bit overdone, but it does seem to have a loyal following amongst Who fans.
