Let's see... One of them goes something like "If an elderly distinguished scientist states that something is possible, he is almost certainly right. If he states that something is impossible, he is almost certainly wrong."
And I had to go look up the other one: "The only way of discovering the limits of the possible is to venture a little way past them into the impossible."
