Obsolete technology for sale.
Dec. 14th, 2008 09:24 pmI forgot to say that given how much I like the MiniNote (and on the assumption that sooner or later I will sort the problems I'm having) I've put my HP Jornada 710 onto ebay - starting price £9.99
So far no bidders, but hopefully it'll see some action eventually; there are a lot of watchers. Fingers crossed anyway...

Date: 2008-12-15 01:07 am (UTC)Seems to be the day for obsolete technology. I'm in the process of working out what to do with the two IBM Z50s we have at home, which were originally used for business meeting notes as well as for college. Activesync 3.8 is the last version to work with the Z50, and Office 2007 needs a later version for pure syncing.
The workaround is to use Compact Flash cards and save files in RTF and other formats. In this way, the Z50 ends up being a nice little offline writing machine that stops me being online and being distracted by the Interwebs.
