I'm thinking minimalist. I think I can get away with the small references to real fandoms in the thought bubble, unless anyone knows better.

There's always room for another Great English Novel. And given how much Dr. Who has infiltrated our culture I can't see any reason why not. Pride and Prejudice and Daleks..?

On my f-list the other day somebody posted a link to Pride And Prejudice With Zombies, which I believe has been published. Somebody has re-written jane austen, to include a zombie apocalypse.

I think you're good with that thought bubble and minor mentions in the actual rules. Just make sure you add a fair use declaration on the copyright page.

I think that you should stick with The Thinker, assuming that use of the image is not a copyright infringement; the instant recognition factor is massive and no original art, no matter how good, can make up for losing that.

That's a good point - but The Thinker wasn't actually what I originally had in mind when I went looking for clip art, it just seemed to fit better than any of the alternatives I looked at. If Sue can give me something that puts across the "fanfic" idea better I'll be very happy. If not, I can probably use some interior art too...
