Weird...

Had another go at getting WiFi working on the Jornada, without really changing anything, and suddenly it's working. Not terribly well - most web sites get a bit flakey when you try to view them on a 640 x 240 display with 256 colours and fairly limited memory, and it looks like I can't access gmail because the version of https the Jornada supports is fairly elderly - but good enough for the occasional file transfer etc.

I suspect that trying to use it with other networks will not be nearly as simple as with (for example) the iBook, but I've at least proved it works.
