Wow, that record stood for a long time. Do you know it was because lack of trying or because no one could improve on the technology?

Indeed, I think it took someone really wanting to do it for it to happen, where as a lot of other records drop because technology is moving on anyway and the option to spur off arises I can't imagine there are a lot of people seriously looking in to steam that way.

I was a bit surprised that they didn't managed to go 'a lot' faster than the existing record though.
