Planets all the way from Earth to the Galactic Core shifted into new orbits as Duncan MacLeod kissed his beloved Anna. The Source was his, the prize...

Watching, Methos said "It's a bit melodramatic, playing billiards with the whole bloody galaxy just to let one immortal become a father."

Something black and disc-shaped flew across the horizon, lights flashing around its rim.

"MacLeod," Methos said urgently, "I've got a bad feeling about this."

MacLeod and Anna ignored him. They were still kissing when several pepper-pot like shapes appeared above the trees, shouting "Exterminieren! Exterminieren!" and disintegrated them...
