Is there any product sold in a clear glass bottle that has a TRIANGULAR cross-section, e.g. three flat vertical sides?

Apart from some perfume bottles and fancy aromatic oils? You can also find cruet sets which comprise three triangular bottles that fit together...

But I can't think of any high volume commercial product- not since Dimple Haig.

Cruet sets sound good - I'll check it out.

There is, or used to be a whisky that was sold in bottles like that (not Dimple Haig, another one). And possibly an olive oil as well. I'll look in the supermarket next time I'm there.

Some Glenfiddich Whisky bottles are triangular in cross-section, but only somewhat triangular, the sides are still rounded rather than entirely flat. The 8 year old is a green glass bottle, but some of the older ones, and specials are clear glass.

Smacks forehead; and Grant's Whisky of course. Trust me to think of the single malt first.

Thanks - it needs to be as close to flat as possible, unfortunately.

The sides are a lot flatter on Grant's than they are for Glenfiddich. I can't find an on-line image link that shows this, but if you go to the Grant's Family Reserve page of their Flash-poxed site, the background picture (not liftable sadly) showed the bottle almost end-on.

Thanks - might just do the job, I shall have to see if I can scrounge an empty one somewhere.

Unless your looking to precisely equilateral triangles , I have often seen bottles in this shape (and other odd ones) - in shops (delicatessens?) which sell the posh flavoured vinegars and oils.

Particularly ones where you chose the oil/vingear from bulk stock and your bottle separately.

I haven't come across any shops like that but thanks, if I do it'll be worth a try.
