I'm not too worried about Donna - they explicitly said that the gizmo affects all humans, Donna is not affected therefore Donna isn't entirely human; she's remembering, she's going to die, but she'll regenerate.

Really wondering what happened to pregnant women etc. suddenly transformed into the Master; when the magic reset button is pressed will their embryos magically reappear? What about the ginormous paradox all this represents? And so forth.

If Wilf kills the Master will all of the replicants regenerate as different Time Lords?

Not aimed at you, but I think last night's spasm (I can't bring myself to call it an episode) was where I stopped caring about NuWho.

I've got the first three seasons on DVD, may get the fourth if the price drops, might get back into it if Moffat manages to rescue something from the Jackson Pollock Tony Hancock style mess that RTD has made. For now, it's painful to watch or even think about.

I agree to an extent - it's just got way too silly. But the train-wreck is still fascinating in its own way.

And you have to remember that the audience it aims at is much younger than us. I'm sure there's much love for this in the young adult market.

You are of course correct. Many of us adult fans of the show do expect it to live up to our higher standards. The problem is once or twice a season a really good episode will arrive and I'll get sucked back in again.

I've also been thinking that the gizmo could heal Donna. It obviously changes DNA.. I'm not sure she'll be able to regenerate. She's not full Time Lord, just.. changed partly cause of the regeneration energy of Ten. If her part human brain can't handle the Time Lord knowledge.. I'm not sure her part human body could handle the regeneration.

They're not going to kill Donna, not permanently. Or if they are I will be VERY surprised.

Oh yeah, I don't think they'll kill her either. But I do think someone's gonna figure out how to use that machine to heal her?

And what about the Doctor's Cloned daughter? She's out there, somewhere and she's a full Gallifreyan as well.
